Your main tasks
  • Commissioning of production equipment in full responsibility until signing final acceptance test at customer site
  • Lead of cooperation projects with semiconductor manufacturing clients with the objective to meet future process requirements in different market segments like MEMS, LED, 3D memory stacking, BEOL processing
  • Adjustments and documentation of changes to meet specifications and generally accepted quality standards
  • Publication und documentation of process results (e.g. sampling und application reports)
  • Sampling and further process support for customer-specific applications
  • Process and product improvement in cooperation with R&D, Engineering, product Management and sales
  • Qualification of new processes, e.g. through DoE, test runs, measurements and Analysis

 

 
Your Profile
  • Ideally PhD or at least Master in Physics, Engineering or Material sciences or comparable qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge in vacuum and thin film technology
  • Experience in different deposition and etching technologies: PVD, PECVD, ALD, FIB, RIE, MBE
  • Working experience in industrial semiconductor manufacturing, ideally in Korea and/or Japan
  • High communication capability with internal as well as external customers
  • Proactivity, flexibility and „hands-on“ mentality
  • Creative problem solving with organizational ability and structured working method
  • Korean, Japanese and English are a must, German is an asset
  • Travel up to 40% worldwide, mainly in Korea and Japan
